Honestly, I think leaving the League has made me a better negotiator. I'm not around the chaos all the time, it gives me a better perspective, and less personal stakes.

Confident. I subbed for Wally once before, briefly, and I enjoyed being able to stretch my skills at the Gym 8 slot. I imagine league meetings will be easier to manage as a temp. I can avoid 'going full bitch' as Flannery used to put it, hopefully.

Actually, based on a lot of these requests, they're trying to bypass Quasartico involvement by working with a private seller, someone named Jacinthe, who somehow managed a seperate patent on the Zone tech... in purple.

Well. I can't say I'm surprised. And I'm certainly not envious of his position, even if it seems semi-self inflicted. Ford is a nice enough kid but bringing another megacorp interest into the league was begging for backfire.
