I think one of the most devastating things about our Christmas's the last few years is my siblings and I are trying so so hard to give my mom some of the things she lost in the fire in any way that we can.

I did however have to listen to my SIL talk about her MIL is the worst because she plays favorites, never tries to see her kids, and isn't very nice to her. Which is literally my life with her mother.

I know it sounds shitty but being around my in-laws has been 1000 times easier since my MIL passed.
