Picking up trash and debris is part of keeping DC clean and beautiful—but that's not all it takes.

DPW teams are experts at graffiti clean-up, street and alley cleaning, public trash can service, and, of course, recycling and trash collection. Reminder: DC Gov is open.

But one thing is certain: DC Government is open.

Trash will be collected, neighborhoods cleaned, schools open—all the great things DC Gov does to keep DC safe and clean will continue.

A federal government shutdown will not shut down the DC Government.

DC will remain open, our students will be in class, parks will be clean, streets will be safe, trash will be picked up, and we will continue to function as a world-class city no matter what happens in Congress.

The DC Government just released the revised revenue estimates for the District of Columbia Budget and Financial Plan. The revenue forecast was revised upward across the financial plan.
