We hear too often from the public that they do not know which number to call when they see an unhoused individual in need of assistance. Through this new outreach model, concerned community members will be able to dial 311 and dispatch homeless service providers to connect people with assistance.

The City is implementing a new coordinated street outreach program and transforming the navigation center into a day-use resource hub. If you see unhoused individuals in need of assistance, you will soon be able to call 311 or submit an online report, which will then dispatch an outreach team.

It's a great day for a groundbreaking! I look forward to Excelsior Wellness opening its first-of-a-kind intergenerational housing development. This development will provide much-needed housing for local seniors and transitional-aged youth.

I met with the leadership team at Maddie’s Place to discuss further collaboration & tour the clinic. They provide medical care for substance-exposed infants, along with wraparound support for their caregivers. This year, @spokanecity.org allocated $300K in opioid settlement funds to Maddie's Place.
