The #BigUglyBill makes billions in cruel cuts to the programs so many of our children & families cannot live w/o, including #Medicaid & SNAP. Instead, it spends billions on immigration raids & abductions that are terrorizing our communities. Where we spend our money reflects our values.

You can still impact the US House vote on the Big, Ugly Bill that will harm children's health by cutting #Medicaid, SNAP nutrition assistance & more... all to give money to the rich & fund government kidnappings.

There is no justification for the fear and trauma these immigration actions are causing to reverberate through our immigrant families and communities. Family separation and the fear of detention and deportation affects our children in ways that will be felt for generations to come.

CA’s #MayRevise Budget falls short.

It misses a critical chance to lead with our values.

As the federal government scapegoats immigrants & slashes support for vital programs, CA must stand up—not step back.

For infants and young children, mental health and physical health are intertwined, just as they are for adults.

Infants and toddlers can’t always express their mental health struggles in words, but they communicate through physical symptoms and changes in behavior.

It would be hard to overstate the impact of the Trump Admin's directive to freeze federal loans, grants, & assistance on America’s children. According to our calculations, these cuts could take roughly $329 billion from US children.
