I've switched to buying physical English books from booky. fi, some are cheaper than on adlibris and the postage isn't bad and sometimes free. Some are weirdly expensive, though.

There were several gorgeous scenes in this. And yes I know the genre of this but I crave movies like this but without the brutal violence.

Netflix suggested The Holiday next but I'm going to save that for the weekend bc I love watching it a bit tipsy with red wine. Though I haven't had to take any painkillers since this morning. But I do have to work tomorrow.

I got around to watching The Christmas Drop later.
Tbh, this was pretty nice. I mean, even the somewhat corrupt politician gets a redemption arc. And I loved that it's based on an actual humanitarian programme.
The love story was not relevant to this movie.
