In addition to July 4th I want to celebrate July 5th. The day the work began. I love our nation and because of that I know she can be better and the shining beacon of democracy our founders intended.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
