Today, I've been studiously avoiding watching even one second of coverage. I scooped cat litter, checked in with beloved friends, made lunch, and tried not to spew angst onto my significant other. Best use of my day was watching MLK Jr's Nobel Prize acceptance speech.

2024 and, no doubt, the 4 years ahead will test my "mettle." Maybe I'll be shaped into someone more functional and beautiful. Hope in any case to be authentic and brave. Sally forth!
