Finished the job I've been at for 11 years on Friday. On a spur of the moment decision we drove to Cornwall on Saturday. Sat on the beach at Marazion and went to my favourite place to eat in Newlyn. Back to Bristol on Sunday evening. Don't regret a moment.

Honour to attend a memorial service for Dr Paul Stephenson OBE, civil rights activist who was an integral part of the Bristol Bus Boycott in the 1960s (the bus company would not employ Black drivers, but they eventually backed down). Also a key contributor to the creation of the Race Relations Act.
