We know Trump loves to have things named after him—it would be funny if things he didn’t like were renamed with the same last name as his: The Trump Bankruptcy Brokers; The Trump Diaper and Fake Trophy Store; Trump Center for Women’s Equality.

Dramatic difference in tone between Singh’s speech and Poilievre’s. Singh was gracious, kind, and hopeful. Poilievre was sticking with spite and division.

Here's my piece on the end of the McBarge.

I’m certain that, when all of this ‘51st State’ stuff has run its course, the US will be using Metric.

Wow. Carney for a decisive win as Liberal leader with 85% of party votes cast.

I think what we need most of all right now is a hologram of Fred, Trump’s dad, saying he’s proud of him and he’s done such a good job he can finally retire and play golf everyday.’ Followed by ‘why don’t you just let that Harris lady fill in for you…’

I don’t care about American football or any sport, but I would love to see the Eagles get an audience with Kamala Harris to celebrate their win. Maybe she could serve them hot McDonalds.

So, just a thought for Americans—since it seems like calling dibs on government is a legitimate thing now, how about Ms Harris just shows up at the White House one weekend when the other guy is in Florida, and just moves in.?

Glad the tariffs against Canada are paused (for now): but I’m still avoiding American products whenever possible.

A little experiment for those of you with Trumpist Evangelical family or friends: casually drop that you heard Trump has asked all of his supporters to make a commitment and get some sort of mark on their body—say…the right hand or forehead. I’m interested to know if they would explain that away.
