Viewed a couple of films recently which dramatize the insane and murderous racist colonial impulses of Europeans in the new world. Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon', and Malick's 'The New World'. Each depicts the same waking nightmare this country is still afflicted by. Maybe last throes?

As always, republicans beclowned themselves in that kangaroo court they staged. Extremely disturbing to see #J6 and Jack Smith, so degraded and trivialized. And the officers insulted, by nazi provocateurs who actually comandeered the proceedings for a time.

Incredible he was not only allowed to remain, but proceeded to HOLD COURT, insulting and denouncing Officer Fanone with lies to a scrum of willing cameras! And then, attempted to directly intimidate Rep Raskin from across the room! Disgusting. Looked like he only later left the hall on his own.

One of the more bizarre moments of this spectacle. Lee was awfully pleased with her inane attempt to Gotcha! Jack Smith. Kept waiting for some kind of logical punch line, and it never arrived. Yes, trump was advised by lunatics, knew he lost the election, and committed insurrection anyway. Thanks?
