On Turning her up in her Nest with a Plough, 2025.

Beautiful work by Daisy Miller at the City & Guilds of London Art School MA Show, some subtle notes on the rural and nostalgia.

Available in Spanish: "La vida es dura. Machismo, peligro e intimidad del poder en Nicaragua" (prometeoeditorial.com/productos/la...), Roger Lancaster's fantastic ethnography of post Sandinista Revolution Nicaragua. Tremendously creative and beautifully written, it has been a pleasure to translate.

"L'Or des Images. Art - Monnaie - Capital" (2013), by Marxist scholar Isabelle Garo. A beautiful, well-written book that should soon be available in Spanish, fingers crossed. (Why is it not available in English yet?!). The section criticising post/neo-operaismo is some serious, sharp stuff.

Muy recomendado "Capitalism Hates You. Marxism and the New Horror Film", de @joshuagooch.bsky.social; especialmente encantado con la lectura que hace del "new Black Horror": un ejercicio de pensamiento dialéctico de gran nivel, y preciso para un libro de análisis marxista. Kudos!

Distant rumours of conspiracies: fascination with body positions, contemporary apartments that operate as old war rooms, things that seem out of place in time, loose ends that remain unresolved. Fantastic works by Alan Martí (Santiago de Chile, 1995), Taller Navarrete.

Peruvian former presidential couple Ollanta Humala and Nadine Heredia sentenced to 15 years in prison in a case linked to Lava Jato. Time to revisit ‘A Internacional da Lava Jato: imperialismo, nova direita e o combate à corrupção como farsa’ (Luís Eduardo Fernandes, @autonomialiteraria.bsky.social)
