Teen dating violence is common: 1 in 3 young people report experiencing dating violence in the US. It can incl. physical, sxl, emotional & digital abuse. All month we'll be sharing ways to ID unhealthy relationships & promote healthy connections. We can all empower young ppl to prevent TDV. #TDVAM

Male survivors of trafficking often go unrecognized & underserved due to myths about who trafficking affects, stigma around masculinity, & fear of not being believed. Many exp. trafficking through sxl exploitation, labor exploitation, or a combination of both; often by someone they know or rely on.

January 11 was #HumanTraffickingAwarenessDay; a day to wear blue to show support and raise awareness. This year even our pets showed out, wearing blue to stand with survivors of sex trafficking—paws, whiskers, and all.

Myths about sex trafficking often hide the realities survivors face. Knowing the facts helps communities recognize harm & respond w care. Anyone can be impacted, though traffickers often target Black & Latinx youth, LGBTQIA+ individuals, & other historically marginalized communities.
