I went into season one kind of skeptical, as Peacemaker didn’t exactly come off as likeable from Suicide Squad. Was then delighted that it was maybe my favorite DC production so far. Absolutely loved it. Can’t wait for season 2.

I’ve honestly never laughed harder than when we’ve played Imperial or 2030. I’m not even sure why, but we have a great time with it.

I’m late to the party, having just played my first games of VFW in Jan, but it’s definitely my favorite “new” game, so many, many thanks for that. I also look forward to the dystopian sequel considering how things are going these days. “Votes for Women 2 : Are we really doing this all over again?” 😬

I’ve also heard it attributed to Mark Twain towards the banjo. I’m not sure of the accuracy, as there are also quotes from him being delighted by the banjo. As a banjo player, I still find it funny either way.

I recently broke mine out solo, mainly to learn it for two player. I’ll often find solo games a bit of a grind and kind of expected that with this, but I ended up really enjoying it solo and played it a few nights in a row. Looking forward to the two player game also. Great game.

Jackie Fox, bass player from The Runaways, designed and released her own game Hard Rock '77 last year. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it was definitely popular at GenCon last year.

To be fair, the first game was a total loss. I definitely reconsidered strategy for game two and had a bit of luck along the way. 😀

The majority of those of us voting against things like that never go overseas at all. They stay siloed away here, convinced that there could be nothing better than what we/they currently have.

Not sure why anyone is gatekeeping “reading”, but where’s the line. Suppose I’m blind. Does braille count? I’m not using my eyes. Have I never read a book unless it was in braille? As long as I absorb each word, regardless of via eyes, ears or touch…seems like reading to me.

I accidentally bought cottage cheese instead of sour cream recently. I really hate cottage cheese and didn’t realize until I opened the container and saw chunks. My first thought was “it’s spoiled”, then I noticed the label said cottage cheese and thought “even worse”.
