More reason to never visit the US. With this kind of Nazi like invasion of privacy, the US should not have been awarded the FIFA games, nor the Olympics. Too late to stop FIFA, but the Olympics needs to take another look at the decision.

I really fear for the people in the States. The descent into a lawless and terrorist regime is happening so quickly and before our eyes. I'm scared to be your neighbour, when we used to be close friends.

Saying that the DOJ can release Maxwell's investigative materials, doesn't mean they will. It's Trump's DOJ and he'll sit on them hoping at some point people will forget the whole sex trafficking scandal. It may take a war with Venezuela, but he's willing to pay that price.

Sexual predators are often drawn to places where children are left vulnerable to those in charge. It's that easy access that attracts them, not a belief in some deity, but the power to control a child. I don't care how religious or trustworthy they may seem, that is their talent.

Does Trump have any clue what he's doing from one day to the next? One day he announces a multi-billion $ aid package for farmers, then the next day he wants to impose severe tariffs on potash. He's just moving tax $ from one place to another.

He doesn't know how to do anything constructive. It always just a game to stir the pot, stoke anger, and create division in the country. He would be as big a disaster in power as Trump is in the US. I can't understand how people don't see this.

A strongly moral man, Zelensky, caught up in a completely immoral war launched and abetted by two criminally unethical leaders, Putin and Trump. The world needs to fight on the morally right side.

Yes, I agree. Carney needs to talk to the country. Poilievre poisons everything the PM is trying to do. He's not a master of much, but he is a master of taking things out of context, spinning exaggerated lies, and misinforming the public. We need straight talk from the PM.

Never take what the Trump administration says at face value. There's always an another motive or scheme behind it. In this case, they want a backdoor into our air defences. Keep them out and go with the Europeans.

Just the thought that the lunatic running the Dept. of Defence, or War, as they prefer, could have control over the jet's software is enough on it's own to stay away from the F-35's. These people want to annex Canada, giving them the tools to abet that outcome is foolish.

Alberta is always stomping around shouting about their rights and freedoms, which they think Ottawa is usurping, but here they are allowing Dani Smith and the UCP to run roughshod over their dearly held rights and freedoms. Don't they see this? Are they blind, brainwashed, or in a covid fog?

To call the US/Russia talks, peace talks is a misnomer. These are stalling talks to let Russia continue to bombard Ukraine. Russia doesn't want peace, it wants Ukraine. The US is doing Russia's bidding and have no interest in pushing Russia into serious talks.

I hope mothers of newborns who have been through 9 months of pregnancy and hours of labour will demand the vaccine. They didn't endure all that to have their baby die needlessly from a preventable disease.
