We had so much celebrating Inclusion Week last week! It was so great to see everyone come together to support people with developmental differences! Although Inclusion Week is over it's important to be inclusive everyday. 🧡☀️

The MCBDD has appointed our first individual with a developmental difference to serve on our board! We are honored to announce the appointment of Board Member Adina Kolar. This milestone marks a historic moment in the MCBDDs commitment to inclusion and representation for all individuals!

We had a great turn out Tuesday night for our Advocacy Info Night! Everyone loved listening to the presenters as well as being able to talk with each of them after. It was a great event for individuals to learn about local advocacy opportunities and find out ways they can get involved. 💙☀️

The Mobile Changing Unit will be on site at the Medina Ice Festival for individuals with mobility limitations! The festival will be February 14-17. Every year this event showcases over 100 amazing ice sculptures. We hope to see you there! Click the link to learn more.

Yesterday’s playgroup at the Brunswick Library was a huge success! We had 40 people visit us and participate in the activities. It was awesome to see our Early Intervention team at work and fun to see the special relationships they have built with some of the families that attended.

Yesterday, Leadership Medina County visited the MCBDD to learn about the agency and the impact we have on the individuals we serve in the Medina County community. We were so grateful to host them and be able show them around the agency!
