I tend to revist older Final Fantasy games tho I don't believe I'll ever replay Final Fantasy 15. It's a bit too depressing for me given what was going on in my life when I played it. I am thankful I forced at least one playthrough. It's a beatuful game even if it's a tad broken still.

For all it's faults, the game nails the feeling of hanging out with the guys. Just driving around, listening to music and talking nonsense. Several times the game had me missing my friends to messaging them so we could get some games in or just hang out in discord.

The game today is still a bit broken but more polished and complete with the Royal Edition. I was able to enjoy various aspects like the music, visuals, several characters including Ardyn who is a very underated villain in this franchise. Main appeal is the friendship of the boys.

Few years ago I decided it was time to revisit this game. During this playthrough I was put in a position where I had to get rid of the car my dad gave me that I had drove for 14 years, ironically the day the car in the game gets destroyed. I may have been a drunken sobbing mess that day.

I wanted to escape into this game so bad but the game launched in a bit of a broken state. It also doesn't help that opening plotline is Noctis being a bit of an asshole to his dad only to find out the next day that he was killed. I gave up on the game fairly quickly.

I know E33 has attracted a toxic part of the FF fandom but I do think you're going to really enjoy it both story and gameplay wise. It's a solid blend of old school era game design with new modern mechanics. Story feels very focused similar to Chrono trigger pacing.

Absolutely. Just saying the reason they have that rule is to keep it at surface level discussions to avoid the fighting that comes with discussing current events. Usually it's more about exclusively discussing current events with no relation to the story.

From my experience, it's usually they just don't want people getting into yelling matches about current relevant topics. Like the topics can be discussed but only relevant to the characters and story and not trying to tie it in with current events.
