My oldest kid is a hockey goalie. Nothing kills that stench.
We've had the pads steamed multiple times, used antibacterial spray, febreze, sunlight, airing it out. Still vile. I banished his equipment to the garage.

My family has a stuffing heritage: not just a recipe, HERITAGE. My sister usually hosts and forced inferior stuffing for years until our kids were old enough to revolt. And then my hero turn 2yrs ago with "guess what I brought" offering. And now, everyone wants "my" stuffing. Petty legends thrive.

I recently thrifted a knee length trench coat and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked today (layered over a sweater). Although the wind did take things up a level.
