God I struggled to get into pub when I was 18 ... the problem with being about 5ft and looking about 10 ... no chance of getting served at that age in govan pubs

I think I only started going from 14 - 17 year old. It was a bus journey from Govan to shawlands in Glasgow and at that age , It was other side of the world but the things a teenage boy will do to chat up females 😆

I can't remember ever seeing roller skating in the south side of Glasgow. Must be a gladgow thing. Crossmaloof was the only rink about I think and absolutely buzzing on a Friday with teenagers .

When I was a teenager in Glasgow early 80's ) . Ice skating at a rink called crossmaloof was the Friday night thing .. I loved it .

I am the same with books now as well . If a book is bad ans not grabbing me . It's put down . I used to struggle on with it .
