The opening reception for the Art of the African Diaspora was nerve racking for myself and the two other artists who were the focus of the Art Talk but we got through it. It helped that it was done in a “talk show” format with another artist who was fun and charismatic.

Actually the reception is two weeks away -Jan. 25. Starts at 11 am with an Artist Talk. The venue is the Richmond Art Center, Richmond, CA.

The group was called something else years ago like The Art of Living Black.
