I've been tinkering with this weird little zoomed-out boardgamey roguelike thing. procjam's imminent and I think I'm gonna spend it on some world/level generation stuff (currently it just has a pool of labels and slaps them down randomly)

Education minister Jason Clare, on reindexing hecs/help debt to a lower rate: "This will wipe out what happened last year and make sure it never happens again."
As though last year was some unavoidable accident, rather than something he did fully intentionally & defended at the time.

a thing they don't talk about with strength training that if you're out in a park and you sit like this, your traps make a little soft cushion for your head to rest on. I think it's not macho to acknowledge this. I got strong recently and I found it out yesterday and it's a real unexpected benefit

then I imagine if it was a nuclear bomb or airborne nerve agent. millions at risk. terrifying to consider. maybe this woman should be prosecuted at the Hague. but then I imagine if it was instead a healing potion or a superevolution serum. could have given the minister a level up. perhaps not so bad
