Thanks much! Now that I think about it, of course the sensor isn't 2" (I do have an old 5D with full sensor, but it doesn't have live view, etc., and probably wouldn't use it here).

(I've been using a cellphone mount with my 8" Dobson: works great for eclipses, less well in low light (: ).

Saucer shapes (like the Enterprise) are a functionally poor design for an exterior as they lead to lots of oddly-shaped/unusable interior spaces

This is a wonderful statement by Spock. And maybe 2/3 of the reposts have used it to say what other people should be doing. Tolstoy has a great quote about this. I can only choose what is mine to do, and what I'm able to do. Change starts right here with me, acting a little better each day.

Love & compassion to everyone. May we have compassion for the parts of us that can't find compassion for others. Steve Cohen is probably the most progressive member of Congress Tennessee has ever had. While we're all hurting, it's ok to take a break from the work and give ourselves some space.

Wait, but Memphis is the capital of the Mid-South, right? That's not something you can take away from us, is it?

(I'm sure the mug has its origins in a bit -- but still 😁).
