everything abt mae felt like it was ripped from my life at the time; the chaos, detachment from reality, family history and finance struggles and the inability to Get Out. just genuinely so good and probably the best portrayal of psychosis and dissociation in any media i've seen/read

YOU GET IT. went from being a diehard mae kin as a teen to now relating more to bea in my 20s (mae is still my goat tho despite her destructiveness). really an incredible game the narrative never gets old to me and has practically influenced all of my work in some capacity.
