This is exactly how I feel. From the UK, I’ve visited 18 different US states over the years. Last time 2023 — took now adult kids back to Disney etc, where they had been decades before. Can’t see me ever going back and my kids feel the same about them and their families. The US has become a pariah

I agree almost completely. Except I don’t think they will find any files when the time comes. There’s no reason for this disgusting bunch of Constitution defilers to have kept anything incriminating. The saddest thing is, the media and people in general will greet that news with a collective “meh”

I am just daily baffled and stunned by the way in which US politics ‘works’. That so much of the insane inanity was never actually proscribed, to allow a functioning country. The only way a new lawmaker gets to take their seat is if an opposition ‘leader’ gives them permission is stunningly insane

Wait a minute. As a non-American, I had no idea that the US actually has free healthcare. I thought there was a ludicrously unfair and monstrously expensive private insurance system. Or is it only illegal aliens that are entitled to universal healthcare but not citizens? So confusing

What’s absolutely astounding and incomprehensible to a non-American like me is how a country can have this state of affairs on the regular. It seems, well, crazy. My country, the UK, is very, very far from ideal but at least we know govt. won’t just shut down, causing damage to systems and people
