No, it means that obscenely rich people have a toxic hole in their soul caused by unfettered greed. They are hugely fortunate but they’re not spiritually rich or happy, unlike someone with more modest means but who is comfortable and content, and usually loved for who they are, not what they have.

Why does he care? He’s still in a grace or favour house, just that it’s now on the Sandringham estate, and he gets a stipend from the King which is likely seven figures. He hasn’t suffered. I wonder if he ever reflects that a woman ended her own life as a result of his and others’ actions.

To really drive home how tone deaf he is, he’s decided to adopt the surname Mountbatten, which seems to have its own related connotations. You have to wonder what goes on inside his head.
