NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. MCL and Merck Forest's Big Read Project, “Building Hope and Connection Through Our Landscape,” focuses on bringing the people of the Northshire together at the intersection of nature and community.

CITYarts engages youth with professional artists in creating public art, including murals and mosaics. Through this creative process, CITYarts empowers, educates, and connects youth locally and around the world to become active participants in realizing their potential and transforming communities.
