Ugh.
Sorry for my craziness, going forward I will toe the line more carefully.

JFC, I asked him once to explain his thinking to me. A simple request. I have zero expectations. I had a couple of subsequent comments with DCsomebody who had some interesting points. Enough already.

Twice to DCCyclone. My mistake.

I replied once to Tom and once to DCCyclone. Sorry if that’s “pressing my point” too much for you. 🙄

I guess there are different interpretations of the term. You and Tom have one view, and many others have a different one. I’m just trying to better understand what it might take for either of you to reconsider your positions vis-a-vis ICE agents killing American citizens.

Yes Tom, what is the line that has not yet been crossed that might make you begin to consider that fascism might be an apt term for what we’re seeing? Seriously. WTF?

F*CK Trump. F*CK Noem. F*CK Nazi Stephen Miller. F*CK J.D. Vance. And while we’re at it, F*CK Kennedy five times for taking measurable steps to kill Americans.

She’s way too smart to ever agree to do anything on Fox.

Finally cancelled my subscription yesterday after that insane editorial praising the invasion. Katherine Graham weeps.

Or 10 billion. Seriously.

Fascinating discussion, thanks for sharing it. It seems to come out of another discussion, maybe on X(?) or Fox News about recent comments by “legal scholar” Jonathan Turley. Can anyone summarize whatever he did that inspired this thread? Thanks!

Utterly absurd, all of this BS. At first, the premise was that it was fentanyl which they eventually realized wasn’t really coming from Venezuela. Now they’re murdering fisherman because they’re worried about coke?? Cocaine isn’t anywhere near the deadly problem it was in the 80’s. JFC.

The Argentinean chef Francis Mallmann is notorious for his love of cooking over open flames. With his New York début, he fizzles out.

How the f*ck did that get into this bill where Dems had already given up everything that their constituents had imagined they were fighting for?? I’m amazed that there wasn’t a crafty cancellation of the next election slipped in. JFC

Anecdotal.

Yes, I voted, but there’s no way I can admit in public who I actually voted for. Please accept this as candor (and please clap).

I visited Belfast in 1978 when I was 18 and saw trucks full of armed soldiers driving around, as you describe. Our hotel’s staff had to search our luggage (I was accompanying my 80-year-old grandfather) as they had been bombed a year or two earlier. 100% accurate.

Like January 6, he is intent on changing history by endlessly repeating his own version of events. It may work on his followers but ultimately, actual history will not forgive this BS.
