Have faith in people it will be a long haul, you currently are suffering from an orange cancer that has spread without any treatment but as an analogy that will die and then there is a re birth. Most important though is the lesson is learnt and not allowed to repeat

as a UK person, I had already vowed not to set foot in the States until he is long gone, my last trip was early 2016 and Obama was still in office - once the orange despot is removed & silenced the US will recover but it will be a long road
