Inconsequential pet peeve: when writers call beverages “liquids” presumably trying to use a synonym. As in “he poured himself a whisky and took a long sip of the dark brown liquid”. Shudder.

I was at the post office today and a guy was asking if they still had Barbara Bush stamps. He was in his 30’s maybe. I can’t stop thinking about it.

Six months old (ish). Three months since a friend rescued her from a parking lot. I was supposed to foster for just one day after she got spayed at the Pasadena Humane Society. She was almost feral when she came home. Needless to say she stayed and seems like has gotten pretty comfy. 😻
