37 years since I began my CPA career. After 6 years at EW and 9 years in corporate, I've spent 22 years leading my own firm.

I'm grateful for all the good fortune I've had, but the chaos in DC doesn't bode well, and I'm worried now as I haven't been for any of those 37 years.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are
