Interesting chance of running across this post so soon after I finished a novel called "Medusa" by Nataly Gruender. It is a very interesting and imaginative book, which looks at the life of the girl and woman who became the Medusa of legend.

Way back, when I was an acting Branch Office Manager at Social Security, I was required to visit people (yes, in person) who had attained age 100. This was to check that they were not only alive but not being taken advantage of by others. I remember visiting at least 2 such persons.

I'm glad to see so many in my age group (I'm 70) here.

As far as remembering "good times," I'd probably say that was the case for me through high school, maybe college, but I was worried about being drafted. Others have mentioned other horrors we lived through. (Right now is indeed much worse!)

To make this a bit more "interesting," the OP of the post upon which Musk made his comment was talking about Birmingham *England*! Note at the end of the comment mention of the UK government. People in the US assume it is Alabama!
