Lieing does no good in a sales process. If you have to lie to sell your product, you have already lost. The wonderful engineers at Honeycomb do a lot of work to make #OpenTelemetry successful.

Getting a good environment to test code is hard. Once you have a distributed system hooked into cloud environments, the amount of code you can change locally and have a good idea about its performance decreases. Staging environments are better. But prod is the one true way to validate your code.

Google failed me. I saw a ".ex" extension in the wild. I had a feeling it was Elixir but wanted to validate as I personally have never used it. Google made me to believe it's some very obscure programming language I have never heard of.

I just set up ubuntu on my NUC. Starting from scratch again means setting up a good shell profile with alias's. And yet again I remind myself, I should be putting all of this into a GitHub repo so I can simply download and go.
