While I agree with you that we need stronger and more rigid collective action, I don't think your smug and dismissive tone mixes very well with responding to the question of "what do we do then?" With "I dont know. Something."

I just really tickled myself by zooming in to look at the art on that robin hood art and thought "Man, there are a lot of kites there, that's strange" and zoomed out to see "BATTLE OF THE KITES"

I live in alabama and while I'm not particularly proud of my home state there are still a lot more people here that would love to see him held accountable than you'd expect.

I'm confused on what you're arguing. That foreign bot and comment farms should be assumed to reflect the organic sentiment of the US populace? If that were the case they wouldn't have to pay for them in the first place.

Before you call someone foolish, can you think of a time where peaceful protesting against fascist violence was successful? I can't, but I'm also not very educated about history.

It not only doesn't help, it actively hurts because it creates a decoy face that people expect and will overlook people that don't fit that look.

For me both are important. On my lunch break or at home I like videos. When I'm driving, working, etc. I only want video. I hate that the industry refuses to just let different mediums be different.

Only tangentially relevant, but one of my long time favorites has been doing more video-centric stuff, which is fine except for when I'm driving in my car wondering what's going on that's so funny. I get that it's important to have clippable content in this ecosystem but its still a bummer.
