Cost of home insurance going up. Why? More and bigger weather events. Why? Cos we're burning too much stuff. So when the next interviewee is complaining on Morning Report why not ask what they are doing to burn less stuff. Leave the Ranger at home occasionally?

I'm a cyclist. But I despair when out walking on Marine Parade. Plenty of dog walkers, parents with strollers, toddlers, older humans then along comes a pod of cyclists bombing along like its a race track. Will not end well.

Common site in Napier on busy weekends. Council reckon recycling happens downstream. Not so sure. This gets tipped into large refuse sack & then into a rubbish truck and away

Gotta hand it to Trump....he can do it all. Takes three of our lot for a similar job. Winston for wild conspiracy stuff, Rimmer for racist dog whistling and Luxo for hubris & bombast

When Key first appeared I thought he was unelectable. Bit too smarmy, crooked smile, difficulty with the English language. Still reckon he's a dick but a country mile ahead of Luxo.

Yeah we're in for a shitty few years
I think that largely the Key govt was still ideologically driven
Not an ideology I agree with but still with the intent to make things better
This government has abandoned any pretense of making things better
It is simply making laws to make rich donors richer

chris luxon has a surprisingly weak personality - he’s a fast talker but he lacks any force or charismatic presence or dazzling intellect or humour.

accordingly, winston is already walking all over him on Day 2
