It’s hard to say. Are the fevers returning when his Tylenol is wearing off? I wouldn’t think autoimmune activity would cause such a high fever.

The doctors said the delirium is pretty common in elderly people during hospitalization. My father in law had it too when he was hospitalized with Parkinson’s and had a urinary Tracy infection. He hallucinated and got combative.

My mom developed hospital delirium after about 2 days. She ripped out her IV and tried to leave. She didn’t know where she was and thought the nurses were trying to kill her. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been though.

💔😞 When my mom was in the hospital, we waited 3 days for sepsis labs to come in. Do you have access to his labs or patient portal? If I hadn’t had access to my mom’s, I wouldn’t have known that she had a heart attack or that her white blood cell count was increasing the entire time she was there.
