@chrislhayes.bsky.social I was glad to see Omar El Akkad on your show today. But was irked by your repeated warnings about his book’s content. It’s true that the book is extremely upsetting, in places, but is it more upsetting than the fact that American-made weapons are destroying Gaza?

This is not Weimar Germany. We are not reeling from losing hundreds of thousands in a war that destroyed the economy and left the currency worthless, nor have we inherited centuries of violent anti-semitism. We still can effect positive change here. Those not busy being born are busy dying!
