Gonna be honest I thought that meant some games (TOTK) would be 70 and some games (Mario sports) would be 60. I didn’t expect 80 this quickly

Still barricade is a curse most of the time unless your deck is built for it. If you’re taking cards like that it’s actively making your hand worse. The game can be a little bullshit on higher ascensions but if you’re still on the first few it’s very possible to beat the act 3 boss each time

I’m convinced Sunshine only exists in a recognizable form because some tech demo had really good water and the people at Nintendo wanted to do as much as they could with it

Abandon your child quick time event is goofy but in a way using the mechanism for giant bombastic fights for it does effectively show how hard it is for Kratos

What really annoys me is how people act like limitations weren’t designed around. Like the developers had their perfect plan and didn’t change it when they realized they couldn’t do something and just cut whatever they couldn’t do

I just started playing a VN that has a character go “Hana, that name fits her” and then immediately segue into talking about flowers. Like I knew what that meant but rip to people who don’t know basic Japanese vocab

The worst example is RPGs which have permanent progress so if a build ends up being overpowered or you end up getting too much exp you can ruin the game for yourself
