Hey Tom, it's not so much the rhetoric upsetting people, it's the murders, kidnappings, using children as decoys, ripping families apart, blatant racism, complete disregard for the constitution, needless cruelty... that kind of thing.

I used to like Joe Rogan. He covered all kinds of topics and seemed to keep an open mind when discussing them. Now half the time he's advocating for mushrooms and the other half he is lecturing his guests. Feels like he lost his curiosity and just wants to spout off.

Good point. But what is different in right wing world that spurs them to act, whereas left is often slower to? I wonder if it is community element within church groups or similar that provides a meeting place for planning actions thst makes organization smoother.

I vote left but still looks kinda dark gray. I'm not a good painter so you should probably ignore me, but I think the gray highlights running the full edge make it seem like the piece is gray with shadows. Maybe leave more black and only add short lengths of brighter highlights selectively...maybe.

His fans have been living in a self imposed right wing media bubble for decades. I grew up in it and most of my family still is. You get fed specific versions of select stories to induce anger and fear. Yesterday's protest in the church was all over the news yesterday as Christians under attack.
