I’m a nurse and a hobby novelist from Savannah.
Today is World Cancer Day. A colonoscopy probably save my life, and if you’ve been my friend for a while it’s probably time to schedule one.

I’m caught up on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and it’s average. There are too many characters, the jokes don’t land, larded up with lard and Easter eggs, the lighting and camera work is distracting.

I hope it grows into something.

Given the amount of injuries the Bears have had tonight maybe “Bear Down” is kind of tempting fate?

The NFC North has been the best conference in the NFL, but as a Packers fan I have a bad feeling about this gane… still Go Pac Go!

Today marks two years since the surgery that effectively removed my rectum in order to cut out the tumor that was growing there.

This has become my own holiday, a second birthday in a sense.

I am thankful to everyone who helped and hopeful for anyone else fighting cancer.
