Listening from outside the US, I forget that you folk actually have to take what the Satsuma in Chief says seriously, and analyse what its real world consequences are. Rather than treat it with incredulity. But why shouldn't you mention something relevant that's said by a president?

We in the rest of the World realise that if you need something from your current government then you shower them praise and tell them they're the best in the history of the World. It will be done through gritted teeth, with a little bit of vomit, but it's what's necessary unfortunately.

I've got a 1 hour 15 minute connection at Amsterdam Schiphol on Tuesday. Really hoping we don't land at Polderbaan! Perhaps one of Europe's better efforts at replicating ORD taxi times.

Woah, you found an EasyJet with retro fabric seat covers! A rare beast indeed. But please you had a good flight with them, on board experience is consistently good in my experience, and definitely a step up from Ryanair for generally comparable prices.

Any chance that when I open the app, the following feed could remember and open where I left off, no matter how much new stuff has appeared above?

There are those who are vaccine resistant who are normally protected because everyone else is vaccinated, so they never come into contact with the disease in question.

Here in the UK train seats are selected purely on a cost basis rather than comfort.

a) Having seen it on TV for years I still fail to understand why Jet2's ad has suddenly gone viral globally.
b) Anyone joking about it has clearly never flown Jet2 and experienced poor old Jess having to sing her heart out every 2 minutes over the PA!

Are the locos/power cars built specifically for the coaches? If so then why are they different shapes?

There's even a central reservation where they could have stuck a column in the middle and saved a massive amount of steel. One of the many rules of engineering I try to work to: 'If it doesn't look right then it probably isn't.'

Memories of MAN-LHR-SFO last year. 2 hr connection, MAN 50mins late (weather) and parked on remote stands opposite far side of T5C. Loooong bus ride to T5A and dashed straight to gate. Looked out window at my A380 with the back of the A320 I'd just got off just beyond it!

Coming off an international inbound, would they not need to clear Security?

Every Ryanair flight. At Milan Malpensa recently they were clearly announcing that flights were ready for boarding when the aircraft turned onto final approach. So everyone rushes through the gates into the pen.

I first discovered there are missing windows on 737s 15 years ago when I selected that row to fly home from honeymoon. Fortunately it was delayed (Madeira doing Madeira things) and therefore entirely in darkness, so we didn't miss much.

SFO is the only US Immigration I've ever been through, but it felt like walking down the Pier (above ground level), through Immigration and out through Baggage Reclaim to Arrivals was all pretty much on the same level. Might even have been high level windows in Immigration hall?

Imagine what O'Leary would say if Ryanair flew to Newark!

But somebody please tell him how to and how not to use an apostrophe!

More people than would have fitted on an A220?

Good. Not sure it's drunk so much down there in the south but is the proper British stuff done correctly, so thought I'd better double check 🙂

You've been here often enough that I'm sure you don't need telling. But just to make absolutely sure; for traditional British beer/real ale in a pub, you should be looking for something that comes out of something that looks like these. Probably not present in hotel bars unfortunately.
