I dont understand your point here. The bbfc can choose not to certify the film due to its content until edited. Even if rated 18, Vue, Cineworld can choose not to show it, Netflix or Amazon not to platform it. Smaller chains may still show it.
Steam/Epic appear to be exercising that same right.
