I have heard that it was originally classified as a mental illness through the efforts of a gay psychiatrist who realized that it was a way to keep homosexuals from being jailed. The declassification makes sense with today’s laws, but maybe not tomorrow’s.

If you mean lgbtq+ people, I don’t know. If you mean how many voters altogether, 77 million 303 thousand plus. More than in 2020, which was more than in 2016. America has decided, and that’s the awful truth.

Much as I dislike the GOAT (ghastly orange aging terrorist), I must applaud his nod to DEI, or at least the I of it. After all, several countries in North America, Central America and South America border this body of water. Why should it be named for just one instead of being inclusive?

Or we don’t pay the tariff, purchasing coffee from Brazil, Ethiopia, Kona, etc. Then it is the Columbian economy that gets socked (not that I care one way or the other, all the world’s a stage…)
