I assume were talking the original version and not the special edition version?

I mean when I learned C++ it didn't have an official string library or a standard for that matter ;)

I'm waiting for malicious data being adding into training sets by hiding it in parts of websites that aren't visible to a human but get sucked up by the ingestion/training processes. I'm thinking a level deeper than prompt injection from web searches for context. A more modern version of hunter2 ;)

I wonder if C++98/03 could gain the same status? There's a lot of old code written in the late 90's / early 2000's that needs to be maintained and it's a bit different than we write now. Maybe LLM's can handle some of it but they have issues and you'd still need some good old programmers around.

I always heard cobol paid the bills, I wonder if its still true.

You want up time, look at a programming language like erlang that was developed in the telcom world. You can hotswap the code and never stop the service. Fault tolerance was an important design criteria. So everything is built to fail gracefully and keep working.

Clearly they don't believe congress is a coequal branch nor that it has any oversight over them.

You can certainly write the words. The question is, can you stay on topic long enough?

We said no roblox in our house. Too many scary stories of predators there.

Does her advise of counsel defense here mean she giving the privileged that usually goes with counsel conversations?

Maybe the bond values are going up in the short term because of the general interest rates going down. Also, people buying the bond my be under pricing the credit risk whereas the people trading the credit default swap are expressly trading on the credit risk.

I know what you're talking about but I don't recall the name right now, you wind up with a lark's head or cow hitch on the standing line instead of a clove hitch.

Btw, one extra loop around in there and you wind up with a taught line hitch which can be super useful.

I had a copy of this as a kid

If it's tied as such we call it a clove hitch. The double half hitch (or two half hitches) is the same idea, but tied around the standing end of a line to create a loop. If you look closely you'll see the clove hitch in there. The round turn and two half hitches variant is what is used more often.

There are no actual consequences for her. Yes, the SCOTUS may eventually make her do something, but she won't pay for it. I wish there was something more that could be done to dissuade officials acting in bad faith.

And Batman... though that was supposed to be Gotham, but I can't not see Lower Wacker as not Lower Wacker.

I just wish my computer science program had taught me about source control. I had to learn it on the job, to be fair it's not that hard to get competent with it quickly for most programmer types. It sure would have been useful in college though.

With out the bargaining position of an insurance company. Without insurance companies or some sort of collective bargaining the induvial stands no chance!

Does a judge have to sign off on these like a warrant? What the legal requirement required to get these approved? Or is it just the prosecutor doing it alone?
