When many of the left insisted that the only solution is de growth, it was a major factor in me realizing that they weren’t a serious movement . It will never ever happen. We need to ( and will) figure out a technological solution to this and all our resources need to go to this.

It is so obviously not true that I assume that people that use that argument have some sort of right wing flavored agenda.

The thermostatic reaction of the electorate has always been stupid and recently it seems it has been supercharged...and it is only self reinforcing. Voters expect immediate results without giving anybody enough power or enough time with the power to do anything and get mad when things dont change.

We have been using all of our resources building laboratories and funding research to come up with the magical set of words that will make the "common, working class man (white)" vote for us. We can't deviate now, eventually it will work if we just devote more attention to it!

Since we likely aren't going to put the people in jail, got to put guys like this in jail. Hopefully will discourage these acts in the future. Get some ICE agents while we are at it too.

I always wondered how/if you communicated back to your family when the campaign got extended another season or months. Also, did anybody bother to tell your family if you got killed or would they find out when the army came back without you?

Maybe employers should stop hiring people that graduate from red state universities until this is straightened out.

I have the exact same questions in regards to the activities of ICE as well. Obviously, they aren’t military so it’s a bit of a different issue.

After this administration is dumped, who is to be held accountable? Trump and Hegseth obviously, but people in the military are responsible too. Lawyers that gave the stamp of approval to the orders? Officers in charge of the strikes? The people who actually pushed the buttons?

Very good thought provoking discussion. I agree that it is a dangerous president for the military to refuse orders from its civilian leaders. That being said somebody has got to be held accountable for these murders being carried out in the Caribbean.
