Eyes are very tricky. From memory, intraoc melanoma is usually diagnosed with retinal imaging and a rather unpleasent ultrasound rather than dye imaging. It suggests they suspect it is benign, if that helps you sleep tonight, though it's probably not much consolation.

If it were melanoma they would have seen it by now. I imagine they've imaged your retina
