They also need to get rid of it for films. They generally have a pretty decent selection but the weird aesthetic perfection in me can’t get over that logo in the corner. Plus, it’s not like they made the films themselves so seems a tad silly to brand them like that.

It maintains the heat! Once you’re done, watch the film. Not only is it also great, you’ll get to feel all superior knowing you read the book first!

Not always. I read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and with how many pages were left when he went in the gas chamber, I assumed he was gonna get outta there. Turns out the rest of the pages were an interview with author and, well, that certainly added to the ending’s shock factor.

Antkind by Charlie Kaufman. I think I would have struggled to read it as it’s very long, very convoluted and very self-indulgent. But as an audiobook it’s amazing. So funny and so bizarre.
