Blade's Duality

Based on the inspiration of her name, Sieglynde's parents are both respectively from similar nations represented in FFXIV. Sieglynde's father is a Garlean Elezen (wound up living in Ishgard) and her mother is a migrant from the Steppe who once served as a samurai under a Doman household.

Siegfried from Fate Grand Order and Lyn from Fire Emblem Blazing Sword. Unapologetically, her name is a shameless mash of the first half of Siegfried's name and the second of "how can I rephrase Lyn as a cooler and organic sounding to finish off the name?"

Sieglynde is a xaela born and raised in Ishgard. To avoid the scrutiny of being labeled a "heretic", her elezen father conditioned her to practice the use of glamours to hide her xaelan features.
