Whenever my neighbors in complain about zoning in west Seattle or the larger city, I suggest we take zoning back to pre-60s trolley suburbs and then expand from there.

The how dare you looks and tones tell the whole story.

Delridge was done in the dumbest way way possible - garbage day blocks the road for hours, and the plants in the median require road closures to trim.

Those were late Bush era McCain Republicans... Then we had the tea party and then maga...

The right has done something several times the left won't even consider, they changed, radically to suit voters.

In 2025 that means being on the 80% of issues and dunking on the party that lost.

I looked into bike camping the Olympic discovery trail, but received a very nasty surprise about camping on the beach, the rangers were clear that bikes were not allowed under any circumstances and must be locked in the parking lots.

It's been there five plus years, it's a gift shop with game day prices for train commuters and people who can't walk up to the ID.

There was a legit bodega inside 505 king, but COVID killed it

Just ignore them, they have no recourse

The idea that you can just tax the total revenue that the open market couldn't justify for the margin is bonkers and still doesn't address zoning or design review.

Is not a serious suggestion

Lets just put up speed signs like we do for cars and then ignore them.

I don't understand how y'all have collective amnesia about how truly destroyed cities were in this era.

They can't even open the park and you want a policy change for cars?

There's nothing in the national and state data that even implies this. Non profits and public health orgs are handing out narcan like candy in comfort kits to addicts.

It's almost exclusively recreational drugs
December 28, 2024 at 9:54 PM
Asking the question what percentage of narcan users beat addiction and don't just OD later often after more narcan will reveal an industry and mutual aid scolds at the same time.

You aren't allowed to discuss it.
