It doesn't make me feel old so much as it makes me feel like our remaining developers lack taste.

In a lot of ways XIII's presentation isn't far off from X. Long pretty hallways, good music, combat is fine.

The only major differences between those two is X let me pick my party immediately and it presented me with a cast of characters that I grew to care about.

I'm glad you enjoyed it but I've fully completed that game twice across two platforms and my experience with it definitely wasn't what I would call positive.

I know they’re keeping the music from the PS1 version but I’m not sure if they’re using the old translation or not. I’m honestly kinda hoping they do. The corny jokes are part of the charm to me.

Here’s hoping for physical copies. I need that PS5 version on my shelf with my other Trails games.

One of those would look fancy under that NES styled Mister Pi case I just bought from you.

I’m in the exact same boat. I’m so tired of retail hell but office jobs just don’t exist where I’m from and I refuse to go back to slowly killing myself with factory work. I hope the best for you, Cyan. I know at least one of us can escape.

Gotta be the the same sort of wavelength the guys that did every MegaMan soundtrack were on. But to be perfectly honest so many of the video game soundtracks from the late 80s through the early 2000s were absolutely incredible.

Final Fantasy is a weird one for me because I’m very partial to particular entries but others I just don’t have fun with and a chart of it would look baffling to most people.

Basically in order fave to least is: VIII, IX, XIV, IV, V, VII, X, III, XVI, I, XV, VI, XII, XIII, and II. (Never played XI)
