Nah, men in the general/average sense kinda' suck. I've only ever really gotten on with the few exceptional ones I've met here and there.

I use a can, sometimes two, sometimes crutches, sometimes a wheelchair, and sometimes I don't need any of them. Varies from day to day and is unpredictable. I've sometimes used a cane when I didn't need one, just to make myself visible.

I'm on a 2 1/2 year wait list for a geneticist. Sadly, not a joke. It took me months just to find the kind of doctor I needed that would even let me get on the dang list. I never got past the screening process, because they were only looking at a single metric for the disorder, I have 10 others.
